Cyber Policy

TEEMA’s cyber security policy is for our employees, vendors and partners to refer to when they need advice and
guidelines related to cyber law and cyber crime. This cyber security policy is an effort to protect the integrity of TEEMA’s
data and technology infrastructure. Whereas TEEMA Consultants must adhere to the specific policies provided in their
agreement. This policy applies to all of TEEMA’s employees, Members, contractors, vendors and anyone else who may
have any type of access to company systems, software and hardware.

Personal Devices

Accessing company’s accounts from personal devices such as mobile phones, tablets or laptops, can
put company or client data at risk.

TEEMA recommends these best practices:
Keep all electronic devices’ password secured and protected.
Logging into company or client accounts should be done only through trusted networks.
Install security updates on a regular basis.
Upgrade antivirus software on a regular basis.
Don’t leave devices unprotected and / or exposed.
Lock your computers when leaving workstation.

Even when working remotely, all the cybersecurity policies and procedures must be followed.

TEEMA representatives must also adhere to confidentiality best practices as it pertains to the handling of:
Financial information
Customer data
Data about TEEMA partners
Data about TEEMA vendors
Patents, formulas or new technologies (as described by TEEMA clients)

If it’s determined TEEMA’s policies and Guiding Principles are not followed, disciplinary action will be implemented.
