TEEMA offers various health insurance benefit plans to those individuals working within our community. We offer plans to both W2 employees of TEEMA and 1099 contractors.
For all full-time hourly W2 employees with TEEMA, TEEMA offers a Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) health insurance plan, with employer contribution as per the Affordable Care Act. We offer:
Medical, dental and vision insurance plans. The insurance is valid for the length of a contract with TEEMA, to the employee only, with the ability to add on any dependents (spouse & children).
These benefits are not to be confused with any additional paid leave programs, such as life insurance, paid time off, retirement plans or parental leave. TEEMA follows Federal and State law, as per the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), for all additional benefits/PTO if applicable.
For 1099 contractors, we offer a similar plan at the full expense of a contractor, managed and paid directly to the health provider.
Lastly, if you are not interested in joining an employer sponsored plan and you wish to purchase your own insurance through the state you reside in, you are able to shop around for a plan suitable to you or your family. We’ve provided a few additional links below. Please type in your zip code and date of birth to view benefit options in your area.
