Job Description
Our client is a leader in specialty building products in North America. They are looking to add another salesperson to their team, to service the lower mainland customer base. The existing sales team of 9 has their hands so full that they could use an extra body. All sales representatives drive a company car and are compensated with a solid base plus performance-based commission.

The Job:
  • You will be calling on existing clients to grow business and cold-calling prospective customers.
  • You will first spend time working in various departments prior to embarking in a full-fledged sales model, including the warehouse and the order entry desk, so that you know the company inside and out. 
  • You will be accountable to reach quarterly targets and will be compensated upon reaching those targets.
The ideal candidate:
Someone with a post-secondary degree/certificate, who is early in their career with enthusiasm, an aptitude to learn, and a knack for sales. You are a personable and strong communicator. You are competitive, persuasive, detail-oriented (without getting bogged down in the details), and well-versed in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.).  If you have experience in sales lead-generation applications, that is a bonus.
