The Role:
The Infrastructure Administrator is a key member of a skilled Infrastructure team responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining the enterprise infrastructure used to support the day-to-day operations of our retail portfolio of companies. This role will design, build, manage and maintain server, storage, virtual and cloud infrastructure environments. 

What you will be doing:
  • Provide tier 2/3 support and after-hours (on call) support of critical systems and processes.
  • Develop, manage and maintain on premise virtual and physical infrastructure (HP Servers, HP 3PAR, MSA, StoreOnce, Dell Servers, Dell Compellent and VMware ESX).
  • Develop, manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure) and email systems (Exchange, Office 365).
  • Provide guidance in infrastructure design, migration methodologies and techniques including system upgrades, consolidations, workload movements and capacity planning.
  • Perform installation, configuration and maintenance of systems including operating systems, patches, updates, etc.
  • Analyze and manage backups system and policies.
  • Research, elevate and recommend new technologies and approaches.
What you need to have:
  • Associate or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • System administration and IT certifications in Cisco, Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise level servers, storage and virtualization platforms
  • Experience with, and advanced understanding of server and storage hardware, operating systems, virtualization and cloud infrastructure. Email systems,  network concepts, systems security and administrative procedures in a large production environment
  • Experience with, and advanced understanding of Microsoft server OS’s, Active Directory and Office365/Exchange
  • Experience with, and advanced understanding of virtualization environments (VMware, VDI, Horizon, Citrix, XenApp)
  • Strong storage infrastructure and backup management experience (HP, Dell, NetApp, FC Switches, iSCSI, VEEAM)
  • Strong Experience managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.);
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
  • Experience building and managing and building Dev, Test, Production and DR environments
  • Experience building and managing end point management and security systems
